About Me
I am a Canadian/British teacher living in the UK with experience teaching secondary school pupils at the KS3, KS4 and KS5 level.
I went to high school in Canada and completed the International Baccalaureate programme in 2015. I completed my undergraduate degree at the University of St. Andrews (UK) in English and Film Studies in 2019. In addition, I studied towards a Postgraduate Diploma in Education at the University of Manchester and have been working as a classroom teacher for four years across the north-west of England and now, in London.
I have experience teaching remotely and can support pupils with use of online platforms as we work together. I was also part of the teacher assessed grades process in 2021 so I am very familiar with the current GCSE national curriculum, specifically the AQA specification.
I currently support KS3 and KS4 students with the British national curriculum and the IGCSE CIE exam board as a homeschool teacher for over 10 subjects.
Tutor Experience
I have been an English teacher for five years in a range of environments, including large secondary schools and as a private home-school teacher. I can tutor pupils in English Literature or Language throughout secondary school (KS3-KS4) and specialise in GCSE, IGCSE and International Baccalaureate support.
