With 20 years of teaching experience across five countries — including top international schools and leading institutions in the UK — I bring a global perspective and a deep well of expertise to my role as an educator. While my academic roots lie in Geography, I have also taught a wide range of subjects, including Sociology, Anthropology, History, Philosophy, and Global Politics.
I hold advanced degrees from two of the UK’s most prestigious universities: a Master’s degree from the University of Cambridge and a PhD from the University of Bath. My international teaching journey has given me a rich understanding of diverse educational systems, curricula (including IB and A-Level), and cultural contexts — all of which shape my inclusive and adaptable approach to teaching.
Beyond the classroom, I’m passionate about music, food, and travel — interests that not only bring joy to my life but also inform and enrich the way I connect with students. My goal as a teacher and tutor is to inspire curiosity, critical thinking, and a lifelong love of learning in every student I work with.
I have extensive experience teaching across the 11–19 age range, with a particular focus on high school students aged 14–19. My teaching and tutoring approach is collaborative, interactive, and student-centered, creating a dynamic learning environment that balances deep understanding of subject content with strong exam technique — both of which are essential for academic success.
Each lesson is thoughtfully tailored to the individual student’s strengths, needs, and goals. This personalised approach helps build not only subject mastery and confidence, but also the critical thinking and assessment strategies needed to perform at their best. My aim is to empower students to become independent learners who feel prepared, supported, and capable of excelling in their IB or school assessments.
