I am experienced tertiary level educator, from Undergraduate to Ph.D, as well as part-time consulting and full-time employment in engineering industry.
I am able to communicate and work closely with all levels of experience, from 1st year UG to Ph.D, from junior engineer to board room level.
My main topic is vibration, and have worked on industry orientated R&D, consulting and training, including Hard Disc Drives, Production Plant, Building and Machinery, and the Automotive & Rail sectors.
I have also had three months Secondary level teacher training, including a term observing then teaching maths.
My tutoring approach at Spires is to focus on high impact content and time efficient contact. I start with a free consultation to drill down and define the requirements, expectations and processes such as scheduling and the weekly cycle. Developing fundamental understanding and then application is the key, and the way to achieve that is case dependant - on the pupil and the topic content.
I have been responsible for entire UG and PG Masters programme management, including curriculum development. I have delivered on all teaching functions including tutoring, lab demonstration, lecturing, project and Thesis supervision up to Ph.D. Some highlighted taught modules are:
Imperial College London:
Undergraduate Tutor during Ph.D studies for Statics, Kinematics, Dynamics, Stress Analysis.
Asian University of Science & Technology:
Lecturer, Programme Leader, Head of Department
UG level courses included Statics, Kinematics, Dynamics and Vibration, Fluid Mechanics and Thermodynamics.
King Mongkut's University of North Bangkok:
