About Me

I studied philosophy because I wanted to understand the world better but ended up even more confused! I love learning about the discerning views on the world and our role within it from all the people from different cultures I have met during my travels.

I love the arts and, as well as a teacher, I am also a musician. I've had various bands throughout my journey with varying levels of success but in reality, it doesn't matter how many people turn up to my shows because I do it for the love of music!

I've worked in translation and copywriting but my real professional passion is teaching! It is such a rewarding and inspiring profession that throws up new challenges every day.

Tutor Experience

As a teacher, I have held teaching roles in international schools on three different continents, I have held roles as head of departments and have developed curriculum and resources.

I have tutored on and off for all of my career, both in-person and online, and I have been very successful in maximizing the potential of my students and helping them achieve their objectives.

I am currently a Theory of Knowledge Coordinator and English Language and Literature examiner. I know what examiners want and I can help you give them what they want!
