I am a final year Psychology PhD Student at the University of Southampton. I am passionate about Psychology and enjoy working with students to help them achieve their academic goals. I like to create a warm and friendly teaching and learning atmosphere. I am also very flexible in terms of availability for sessions (i.e., daytime, evenings, weekends). I often offer a free 15 minute meeting to discuss whether I am the right person to help with your studies :).
I have experience in teaching undergraduate students and masters students a range of psychology subjects including Research Methods, Behavioural Neuroscience, Psychology of Attractiveness, and Advanced Statistical Methods. I got an A* in A level (AQA) Psychology and am keen to help A-level students achieve top grades in this subject. I also have a Masters Degree in Research Methods in Psychology so I have a good understanding of statistics.
My particular interest within the topic of psychology is Individual Differences and my research is focused mainly on the subclinical personality trait of Narcissism. I also have a Masters Degree in Research Methods in Psychology so I have a good understanding of statistics in psychology.
Natalie is friendly and patient. I was initially very nervous and she has been able to put me at ease with a subject that I find very challenging.
Angela felt very well in your class and found it very useful. Thanks. After the class planned on Monday, she might not be able to schedule another class for a few weeks, she will let you know when to resume the tutoring.
great thank you
Natalie's exceptional communication skills made complex tasks understandable. Her patience and ability to clearly explain details were greatly appreciated, especially as a dyslexic where communication is crucial. Natalie was also willing to rephrase explanations to ensure understanding, which greatly improved my confidence. Her capabilities and expertise were excellent!
