I have a great deal of experience in assessment, pedagogy and a wide range of historical topics. I enjoy art, sport and reading in my spare time.
I am an experienced teacher, having taught history for fifteen years. I was the Head of the History Faculty in a prestigious international school for four years and during this time I was also a History International Baccalaureate and IGCSE examiner. I have written five history textbooks for Hodder Eduation and Oxford University Press for GCSE and KS3 as well as co-authoring a number of articles and books on history education. I pride myself on my broad knowledge of history and my students appreciated my patient and empathetic approach to teaching. I have tutored a range of students online and in person, and my specialism is in supporting IB students with their Internal Assessments and A Level students with their NEA. I am currently employed as a full-time researcher and PhD student by University College London.
