Online Psychology Tutor Deborah

I'm Debbie and I have taught Psychology at undergratuate university level for 20 years. I am passionate about research and am happy to help you with all aspects of Psychology including understanding Psychological theory and concepts, research methods, critical thinking and writing, exam prep and general study skills. I have a Masters degree in Education and I hold a PGCE. My specialist areas are lifespan development theory and life transitions. I am also active in research as a post grad researcher and love supervising research students. I am also happy to help with writing research proposals.

I also have a second degree in History and Comparative Religion. I have a particular interest in alternative spiritually, astrology, tarot studies, healing etc.

I can also provide help and support with general academic skills, English composition, grammar and spelling, feedback on draft assignments etc.

I take a very practical approach to helping students. I will meet you at your level and we will get the task done together.

In my down time I love spending time with my dogs ... I have nine Cairn Terriers who are great companions!

I have a passion for education, especially how it can help us grow in confidence and personal development and I hope that I can instill the same passion in my students and make learning an enjoyable experience for you. We never stop learning in life and knowledge is a gift to be treasured!

I try to always put myself in the shoes of my students and understand their unique situation ... so much so that I am personally studying Law at the moment for personal interest and because being a student helps me to have empathy with own students ... I know what it's like to meet tight, deadlines, submit exams, deal with feedback. We are in this together!
