I am a Chemical Engineer with a Ph.D. and over 15 years of experience in both research and teaching. My background spans across various fields of chemistry, including catalysis, material synthesis, and reaction engineering. I have worked extensively on innovative and sustainable chemical processes, collaborating with industry leaders and academic institutions. In addition to my research career, I have a deep passion for teaching and mentoring students, helping them develop a strong understanding of chemistry and its real-world applications. I am very open myself and I believe in openness and honesty with my tutees, as well as having fun!
I have a robust history ( more than 15 years ) of teaching and tutoring in chemistry and chemical engineering at both high school and university levels. As a teaching assistant at Ghent University, I taught courses in microkinetic modeling, simulation, and catalysis, and I guided students through complex topics in chemical reaction engineering. I also coached PhD and MSc students on their research projects, offering them technical guidance and support. Over the years, I have developed a clear and engaging teaching style, aimed at making challenging concepts accessible and fostering academic success.
