About Me
I am a committed, passionate primary school practitioner, with over 10 years of experience, holding a Postgraduate Certificate in Education. I have a wealth of international experience, working in South East Asia, Europe, and the United Kingdom. I am a passionate and highly motivated teacher and get immense satisfaction from forging strong and respectful relationships with my students. I have extensive experience tutoring both face-to-face and online, catering to a range of ages, abilities, and learning styles. I enjoy creating innovative and engaging lessons across all curriculum areas and put a high value on providing bespoke and tailored lessons, adapting to the needs and interests of my students. My endeavor is to challenge, nurture, and inspire my students, supporting their growth into happy, well-informed, ambitious young people.
Tutor Experience
Throughout my career, I have held a number of positions. My most recent being Year 6 teacher and SENCo. Prior to this, I held the position of SENCo, EAL, and Inclusion leader. I have taught all year groups from Nursery to Year 6 and I am a highly adaptive and capable teacher with extensive curriculum knowledge across all the key stages. I have extensive online experience, delivering lessons, across all curriculum areas using Google Meet and a variety of online learning platforms.
Topic Expertise
I consider myself to have strong computing skills and know how to use a variety of apps and software to make online learning seamless, interactive and engaging. I particularly enjoy teaching maths and English and I am a highly experienced and competent phonics teacher.
