About Me
Hi, I’m Anitha — a Physics specialist tutor (since 2014) and an experienced teacher with 10 years of classroom teaching in UK schools and international schools. I tutor GCSE, A-level and IBDP Physics (SL/HL) across multiple boards: AQA, Edexcel, OCR, Cambridge International (CAIE) and IBDP.
I’m also an A-level Physics EXAMINER including Paper 3 (Practical Skills / Experimental Data Analysis). This is a key advantage because practical skills, uncertainty and data analysis are areas where many students lose marks — often because they are not taught with enough exam focus. I teach students how to answer these questions in a way that earns marks, using examiner-level precision. I have marked many IBDP IA and EE.

Topic Expertise
I have taught Physics in a range of international settings, including the USA, Japan, Asia and the UK. This experience has given me a strong understanding of how students from different educational and language backgrounds learn Physics.
In particular, I am skilled at supporting non-native English speakers who may understand the Physics concepts well but struggle with interpreting exam questions accurately. I help students break down what a question is really asking, so they can express their knowledge clearly and gain full marks.
As an A-level Physics examiner, I also train students to avoid the most common exam mistakes. Many students lose marks not because they don’t know the content, but because they miss key wording, scientific terms, or essential concepts required by the mark scheme. My approach helps students answer with precision and maximise marks.
