About Me

I am an incoming PhD student at Imperial College London where I also studied for a Masters in Biomedical Engineering, helping to improve peoples lives using Engineering. I have a passion for not only helping students to improve their grades but also to develop their understanding and share my love of Science and Maths. With my proven academic track record I understand what it takes to achieve top grades and I hope to impart the skills and revision techniques I have learnt to help my students. My previous experience teaching windsurfing for many years in my summers has also helped me to build up my teaching skills in a variety of environments.

Tutor Experience

I have over 900 hours of lessons taught on online platforms across Biology, Chemistry, Physics and Maths at both GCSE and A level. I am very familiar with the following exam boards ; OCR A, Edexcel, CIE and WJEC. I have received over 70 5 star reviews from my students and parents who have seen improvements in their grades and confidence in the subjects I have tutored.

I believe having an intuitive understanding of concepts is very important in succeeding in exams so my sessions will focus on giving you a solid grasp of key ideas so that when it comes to applying them to different scenarios so it will feel like second nature when approaching more difficult exam questions.
I also believe reviewing concepts regularly is important so will try to include a recap of previous ideas at the start of each session, especially important ideas that will be built upon.
I will also try to make use of visual aids and analogies to real life things as possible so you can relate topics that sometimes seem a bit vague to things you can understand from everyday life!
Also I think seeing lots of differing examples and how to tackle them effectively is key to succeeding in your exams
