I have over ten years experience teaching university level students. I have successfully mentored PhD, MSc and undergraduate students through their dissertation. I have taught students from many countries where English is not their first language. I specialise in constructing scientific writing and style. I look forward to hearing from you and starting our first lesson

I graduated from the University of Birmingham with a 2.1 in Biochemistry and then completed my DPhil at Oxford, also in Biochemistry. I also have a post-graduate qualification in teaching and learning, which qualifies me to be a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy.
I have taught at a number of universities in the UK (Queen Mary, Sussex, Imperial College, Oxford) and I very much enjoy helping students with their learning. I am currently researching biomarkers in breast cancer biology, so I specialise in genetics, molecular biology, cancer biology and novel therapies. I am able to help students with a wide variety of biomedical/biology subjects and rest assured that I would not bid for a job where I will be able to help you achieve better.
I particularly enjoy the challenge that writing brings, helping students with dissertations.
I have been tutoring for 2 years. In that time, I have particularly enjoyed tutoring students through their dissertations, especially helping them with their language and writing style.
Biology, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Genetics, Next-generation sequencing, Cancer biology, genetics, signalling pathways, novel therapies
