I have over 3 years of tutoring experience, having taught science from 11+ to IB Higher Level. I absolutely love teaching and investing in learner's journeys to greater understanding and better grades.

I am a biologist and zoologist by training and have a deep knowledge of palaeontology, behavioural ecology, development, evolutionary science, genetics, plant and microbial sciences, pathology, physiology and cell biology. I also have experience in optimising academic writing, and developing research methodologies.

As a Cambridge graduate, I am able to help with Oxbridge admissions, working on both interview technique and tutoring for aptitude tests.

I am also a trained actor and drama teacher, and have developed a practice of clear and engaging communication and teaching, which can adapt for the needs of each learner.

My main subject of expertise is IB Biology. Having studied Biological Natural Sciences at Cambridge, and scoring a high grade 7 (95%) in my own IB Biology Higher Level, I am well placed to help explain and integrate the IB Biology syllabus.

I am also able to tutor and advise on other IB subjects, including SL Chemistry and Environmental Systems and Societies. After scoring an A in my biology-based Extended Essay, I can consult on other IB Science EE's and help in establishing a research methodology and with data analysis.

Specialising in Vertebrate Evolution, Behavioural Ecology and Developmental Biology at Cambridge, I am also an have a high level of expertise in these modules at undergraduate level, and can tutor Oxbridge University applications, specifically performing mock interviews and tutoring for the TSA.

I am also familiar with GCSE, iGCSE and A-level Biology syllabi.
