About Me
I'm a PhD researcher, specialising in ecology and statistical analyses of real-world data, for which I use the R programming language. My research utilises various modelling methodologies and spatial analyses to investigate ecological theories and their practical implications.
I'm a sociable person that likes helping others, and not just as a tutor! At my previous working position, I advised research interns with their work, making sure they achieved their goals and expanded their skill set.
In my free time, I enjoy playing tennis and writing, as well as attending concerts.
Tutor Experience
I have 8 years of tutoring experience, both online and offline, primarily teaching Biology and Statistics at A-level and undergraduate level. Additionally, I specialise in helping people improve their research skills at university and beyond. This includes data analysis in R, conducting literature reviews, and academic writing.
I enjoy seeing people improve in their work, so I'm always patient and I adapt my teaching style to each student, taking into account their academic background and personal needs. I always try to build solid communication and trust with my students, as it is a necessary foundation for any learning environment.
It is important to me to go beyond effectively helping with the topic at hand, but also honing the student's critical and study skills, so they are able to learn and work independently in the future.
