SAMANTHA, MBA Dissertation: Academic Angel - Dr Jacqueline McLean. As a distance learner MBA student, I had to think smart for the last part of my MBA, the dissertation. I needed someone to help guide me as I was overwhelmed and had no clue where to start! Thank you to The Profs for introduction who came to me as a recommendation from The Grad Coach. Now, where do I start with Dr Jacqueline McLean?! Not only was it a God send directly from heaven, but she actually invested time and effort in me which I was not expecting. To locate someone of her calibre (She is a Dr, a published author, and has been cited in many publications), to work with me in the trenches (I am a first time dissertation writer!) was just lucky. She taught me so much! She assisted with the following: 1) Up my academic game from language to techniques in general. 2) Teaching me a research module I had missed which was key to produce a dissertation. Whoops to me - thank god for her! 3) Being willing to guide me through the academic process and protocols which I was unaware of that needed to occur during writing a dissertation. 4) Helped me with a battle plan and a structured approach towards the MBA. 5) Be that second pair of eyes to read what I had produced and offer brilliant direction and suggestions. I learnt so much from her, she is honestly part of my MBA memories forever! Thankful and grateful to her!

OLIVIA, MSc Dissertation: Outstanding and exceptional, the best decision I have made. I was really struggling with my dissertation; my supervisor was of no help whatsoever. So, I turned to Dr Jacqueline McLean. I have never met someone so hardworking and dedicated. She helped steer me in the right direction and helped me shape my dissertation, which my supervisor SHOULD have done…but in the end…I went to her because she was quite simply…the best…I can honestly say I have learnt more from her than I have at my time at university. There are no words that can convey my gratitude towards her. She always responded to me very quickly and always made time to look at my work and provide me with feedback that was extremely helpful and constructive. EHIZ, PhD Thesis. Dr Jacqueline has been a breath of fresh air as she has helped me bring my work back to life. I had so many struggles academically before being introduced to Dr Jacqueline on The Profs, up to the point that I almost felt like a shadow of myself due to the lack of support from my University. However, ever since I met Dr Jacqueline, I began experiencing her patient style of tutoring, teaching and even mentoring. She goes above and beyond, and I have been greatly encouraged by her adept understanding of my struggles and the knowledge and skills that she's imparted in me (in such a short period). My writing confidence has improved, especially with the tips she often gives. My thesis has gotten back on track, and since I started working with Dr Jacqueline, I have had no regrets. Instead, I have learnt some key life lessons. In summary, Dr Jacqueline taught me how to learn again.
