Online Latin Tutor Henriette

Over the past six years I have tutored students regularly in Latin, Ancient Greek and Classics. I am familiar with the OCR syllabuses for Latin, Greek and Classics both at GCSE and A-level, and have developed my own resources designed to tackle set texts, unseen passages, translation from English into Latin/Greek and to reach the required level of grammatical understanding. I have also tutored pupils for the IB Latin research dossier and exam. I have experience teaching pupils from aged 10 upwards, both tutoring alongside school syllabuses and teaching for pupils taking exams independently. In addition, I have experience with preparing pupils for scholarship entrance exams in Latin and Greek, including one student who was awarded a Kings Scholarship at Eton, with particularly impressive results in ancient Greek.

In addition to these regular students, I have tutored pupils for competition essays, including those for the St John's College Oxford prize and the Mary Renault Prize, encouraging high-achieving pupils to think creatively and write fluently. I also assist with preparation for the Oxbridge classics aptitude tests and admissions procedure for Classics.
