About Me
I completed his undergraduate studies in Civil Engineering at Istanbul Technical University, Istanbul, Turkey, in 2013. After obtaining my MSc (with high honours) in Structural Engineering and Steel Design from Istanbul Technical University in 2016, I worked as a research and teaching associate, gaining significant experience in both academic and practical applications of structural engineering. During this time, I developed deep expertise in delivering courses on steel and concrete design, structural analysis, and design project management, playing an active role in mentoring students through coursework and design projects. My dedication extended to private tutoring in the field of structural engineering, where I helped students strengthen their understanding of core engineering principles and design methodologies.
Subsequently, I commenced my doctoral studies on the ultimate response of stainless steel bolted connections at the University of Birmingham. Upon obtaining my PhD in 2021, I have been working as a university lecturer in Civil/Structural Engineering. My teaching and research contributions in structural engineering continue to impact the next generation of engineers, drawing on his extensive background in both steel and concrete design.
