About Me
I have been in the education industry since leaving University in 2017. By following my interests in mathematics and science and merging this with my passion to help others, I came across teaching and have been involved with it ever since!
I love the relationship building aspect of teaching, as I believe this is key to helping teach learners in a way that works for them. I like my sessions to be a balance of work and humour, which in my experience has helped pupils remember concepts better, as I've explained them in interesting ways that 'stick' with them.
In my spare time I like to go on long walks in North Wales with my wife and dog (Mabli), and enjoy reading sci-fi books (currently working my way through a Game of Thrones - it's taking a while!).

Tutor Experience
I have 5 years’ experience as a tutor teaching mathematics and all three sciences to students ranging from 10 – 18 years old. I have supported the learning of students in both Welsh and English. As a teacher I have mainly taught GCSE pupils, specialising with the WJEC Mathematics and Science syllabuses, but also have experience teaching the EdExcel, AQA, and Pearson iGCSE examining boards. In my most recent role as the head of mathematics at an alternative provisions centre, I have gained experience in teaching and assisting SEND pupils to achieve their GCSEs.
