I am an Engineer with 9+ years of experience in teaching, tutoring and coaching students from GCSE and A-Levels to undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
I started tutoring students since 2011 when I gained a Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering, performing one to one and group sessions up to 6 students, and I kept turning during the Master's Degree studies.
I culminated my passion for teaching in China, where I taught two subjects related to Aerodynamics and Thermodynamics:
• Engine Systems and Aerodynamics
• Performance Modelling and Computational Fluid Dynamics
I delivered technical lessons to two groups of 150 students who are attending their Bachelor Degree in Automotive Engineering at the Automotive University of Hubei, in Shiyan City, China.
The best students have been selected to attend their last university career at the University of Bolton, UK.
Fabio's last completed Mechanical Engineering job with Raisa : 1-2 hrs/week - Hi, I need help with fourth year mechanical engineering thermodynamics and fluids. I have got exams coming up. I’m struggling with the past papers and I’m looking for a tutor to help me come up with the solutions. I can send you all the notes and tutorials for the relevant subjects. Are you able to help me?
Fabio's last review in Mechanical Engineering from Nawaf: Fabio is in well knowledged and have great ability to transfer the knowledge to students (like me) without any issue, he is patient and answered all my questions (even silly once) without any issue, totally recomend him for engineering classes
I estimate I have at least 6000 hours of experience, having been a tutor since 2011. I initially started teaching Maths and Physics to Engineering students at University and I gradually expanded into secondary school level tuition. I have worked full time as a tutor since 2012 and during that time I have taught Maths, Physics, Chemistry and Engineering.
I have taught A Levels, IGCSE/GCSE, IB, Pre-U, AP and I have covered nearly every exam board including Edexcel, OCR, AQA, WJEC. All of my students are seeking to get into top Univeristies.
What makes me a good tutor is my ability to break down a subject and cover it in a particular order so that a student who might not have a good understanding can understand how to progress through the topics. It doesn't hurt that I have a sense of humour and make my lessons actually fun and enjoyable.
Shahid's last completed Mechanical Engineering job with Gary: 1-2 hrs/week - i am currently struggling with Functions and various algebra, i am a first year engineering student, however one of my modules is purely mathematics. I will be looking for continuous tutoring as i constantly struggle with Math. These struggles transfer into other subject like engineering materials .
I have been tutoring for more than 10 years, across a range of skill levels from GCSE to degree level. I come from a family of teachers and tutored students from the age of 16.

Mechanical Engineering job with David:
1-2 hrs/week - Robotics
I'm David, and I'm an adult learner looking to further my knowledge across a couple of fields in science. My end goal is to become knowledgeable in Genetics, Nanotechnology, Robotics and Computing. I have looked at a few Robotics short courses that I think may be suitable. My aim would be to study primarily remotely as I feel that's how I study most efficiently. I may need further guidance
I've placed this advert under Mechanical Engineering and Electronic Engineering as they seem the most closely related to Robotics. I have achieved a high standard level of Knowledge in Computing. I have been working primarily as a Programmer/DevOps Engineer for well over a decade. I believe that over he next few months, the structure of my work will change in such a way that it will allow me to study further Higher Education. I would like to study regularly before then, and likely would want to continue tutoring during too.
I have built and used Lego Mindstorms, though would like to be able to design and build my own.
I think that I would like a solid study plan to work towards. It would be great if the successful tutor could help me achieve this.
Shaun's last review in Mechanical Engineering from David: Great as always - highly informative
I have tutored students online for over 3000 hours and helped over 400 students in Physics, Mathematics, Engineering and Chemistry subjects. I have previously been recognised by ESTYN as an outstanding teacher and won best online tutor for two years with a major tutoring company.
I have been tutoring students Physics, Mathematics, Engineering and Chemistry for over 30 years. I have a wealth of experience getting the best from students at all levels. I have taught Science at Key Stage 3; Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry at GCSE and IGCSE level; Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry at IB level; Physics, Mathematics and Further Mathematics at A level; tutored numerous students for 13+, 16+, MAT, NSAA and STEP examinations; tutored modules for undergraduate physics, mathematics and engineering; assisted students for both Master and Doctoral postgraduate degrees.
All of my students obtain excellent grades as I tutor in a way that gets the best from every student. In the latest set of examinations all of my students obtained places after independent schools examinations; at GCSE my students obtained level 9 (4 students); at A level my students obtained A* grades (7 students) and 1 student obtained a B grade; at undergraduate my students obtained a first in their modules (3 students); at postgraduate my Master student obtained a first for her dissertation.
