I estimate I have at least 6000 hours of experience, having been a tutor since 2011. I initially started teaching Maths and Physics to Engineering students at University and I gradually expanded into secondary school level tuition. I have worked full time as a tutor since 2012 and during that time I have taught Maths, Physics, Chemistry and Engineering.

I started working as a private tutor in 2016, and have accumulated over 700 hours of tutoring experience at University level. Seeing the vast array of different situations student find themselves in has made me increasingly sensitive to other areas of their lives that might be impacting their studies. As a result, I am very open to discussing anything with them should they bring it up or I sense there is something playing on their mind. I find this really helps build a welcome environment for the student and makes them more relaxed in the session, which is invaluable for study.
Most of my clients have been on a one-to-one basis and have worked with them for a few months to 3 years or more. I have had intermittent experience working with groups of 2 to 6 students in local schools and also worked on a one-to-one basis with children with SEN.
Most of my work has been in a face-to-face setting but over the last 2-3 years I have been working with increasingly more students in an online capacity and a few internationally.
I have covered all the main exam boards (AQA, Edexcel and OCR) with students for both GCSE Maths and Science and have experience with IGCSE Edexcel Maths and IAQA Science.
