I have been tutoring and teaching professionally for nearly a decade and have great success with my pupils. Recently, one of my Theology students got 100% in his OCR exam, having come to me on a D grade. I'm always encouraging (but also honest) and I like to discover someone's learning style and develop that with them. I genuinely love teaching and I think it shows when I work with people.

1-2 hrs/week - I am looking for someone to read my assignments and suggest improvements.
Extra tutoring if required.
I have a BA in philosophy with first-class honours from the University of York, and an MA from the University of Birmingham. A number of my papers have been published, and I was previously an editor of a philosophical journal.
I have been teaching for over four years. I am reliable, dedicated and professional. I have an exceptional history of helping students achieve success.
I am a professionally trained, passionate philosopher. I believe in helping students to achieve highly whilst also imparting some of what makes philosophy a wonderful subject. Despite what some people think, you absolutely can maximise both simultaneously. Learning should be fun and rewarding, but still results driven.
I have excellent communicative and interpersonal skills. Philosophy is hard, we will look at things together that some of the greatest minds of the last two and a half thousand years have struggled to grapple with, so although I can never make it easy, I can certainly make it easier. I want to help you appreciate the satisfaction of understanding and working with something that was originally very challenging.
Daniel's last completed Theology And Religious Studies job with Kally: Occasional - I am studying for a Theology degree and my grades generally land in the mid 50's. The feedback suggests I am not using critical thinking and my writing is largely describtive. I would like to find someone to help me improve my grades, to look over my work and suggests improvements and teach me how to write critically.
Having taught English full-time at senior school, I have a good knowledge of mainstream schooling and curricula, as well as experience in the classroom. I have taught IGCSE, A-Level and to all ages from 9-18, as well as Beginners’ Latin.
I tutored undergraduates in academic writing, structuring arguments and analysis at Edinburgh University.
I am currently an MPhil graduate and PhD candidate at Cambridge, researching the poetry of David Jones.

Theology And Religious Studies job with Edmund:
1-2 hrs/week - 4th year Theology student, currently sitting on 68% and looking to get this into 1st bracket by nailing dissertation.
Start date would ideally be for beginning of next semester (14th Jan), by which point I hope to have outline and extensive notes on topic- Mary Daly's feminist theology. I have a good grasp of the general theory, though need heightened focus on the topic and narrative of the piece itself - am currently leaning towards how her use of language and metaphor makes her work persuasive/striking.
Deadline is the 29th March, and in the meantime I only have one other course to contend with, so essentially have from now until deadline to completely focus on getting the 10,000 words done!
