About Me

An inquisitive and passionate person, who believes in the power of shared learning and accomplishment. I strive especially to ensure that individuals working with me are guided with energy, engagement, empathy and encouragement.

Academic areas of interest include etymology, discourse, sociology and organisational psychology, and methodologically a specific love of qualitative research underpinned with a critical realist epistemology.

Tutor Experience

As a tutor since 2020 I have completed over 2000 hours working with students, international and of varying ages from school age to late adulthood. I have worked privately and within the UK Higher Education system. In addition, I have also completed published research for the public sector, working with other Academics for a number of international organizations, including WEF, WHO, UK Government and Welsh Government, along with multinational corporations such as Merck Life Sciences, Tech and Healthcare, SES satellites and Anglo America.

I have worked in a number of public state schools in the UK and within the UK Higher Education system across two institutions. I also have teaching experience working with young school age children who are challenged in different neurodivergent ways.

Right now, (from 2020) I am a tutor / lecturer with the University of London, working with MSc students throughout their program journey. My specific role is Convenor, Tutor for the International Organizational Psychology Human Resource Management MSc (CIPD accredited), which includes teaching, tutoring and supervising, marking and supporting OPHRM students all over the world completing MSc programs. I am also the program’s Qualitative Researcher, specializing in Critical Discourse Analysis and IPA.

My private students are sourced through online agencies such as The Profs. Both of these teaching scenarios are for the majority of the time in a remote capacity. I am also an organizational psychologist consultant for business leaders, putting into practical application academic teaching and theory. I also mentor a number of senior managers working in communications within the private & public sector.

In 2025 I hope to begin my PhD with a focus on deeper application of Critical Discourse Analysis as penned by Fairclough, looking at psychosocial implications of organizational change as a result of communication to employees.

Topic Expertise

I teach subject based content across management, business, marketing, communications, psychology and organizational psychology, in addition to being an accomplished academic skills tutor, with a specialism in writing for assessment.

I also assist with UCAS applications, graduate opportunities, personal statements and coaching students for interviews to enter higher education, or achieve their first graduate placement.
