I have performed professionally on saxophone in famous venues in New York, London, Oxford, Amsterdam, and Taiwan with my own bands and as a guest artist. At university, I was president of the Oxford University Jazz Society and Oxford University Jazz Orchestra, for whom I single-handedly organised a performance tour around New York and the recording of an EP. I have also conducted and arranged music for a 25-piece gospel and pop music choir, and taken lessons and examinations in Saxophone, Piano, Drumkit, Percussion, ‘Cello, Oboe, Treble Recorder, Music Theory, and Electronic Music. Aside from music, I am an avid reader and autodidact and I have recently completed the University of Edinburgh's online Introduction to Philosophy course. I also regularly attend workshops and courses on Shamanistic and Taoist practices such as Qi Gong in Bali, Taiwan, and around the UK.
We asked Phillippa to aid our 10 year old daughter for some exams with only 3 months to go from almost nothing. Phillippa was everything we had hoped for. Very reliable, friendly, patient, understanding, calm focussed and pedantic (in a good way). It was a joy to watch our daughter grow with Phillippa’s tutoring, homework and written guidance. Our Daughter did well in her exams as Phillippa had minimised the fears and mystique. We have used Phillippa subsequently for some specific areas of assistance. Again very successfully. We cannot thank Phillippa enough and rate her extremely highly. Thank you Phillippa Andrew & Abigail Smith
