Online Biology Tutor Olwen

I am an experienced, adaptable, patient teacher who has a sound knowledge of A level Biology and GCSE Science. Whilst my background is originally in human biology and health as a doctor, I have a strong interest in science and learning in general. My experience being an examiner for an exam board has meant that I can support students more effectively to achieve their potential, including with accurate use of scientific terminology. I am currently available on Mondays and Fridays for personal tuition sessions and am reliable and well organised. I have excellent relationships with my current students and their parents and communicate effectively about what they want to do in the sessions. I use a variety of teaching techniques to make the subject interesting and easy to understand. My private tutees have commented that I explain concepts better than their teachers, and that they benefit from the individual time and flexibility of the sessions. They feel confident to ask questions and express their ideas. I have tailored my teaching to students with a very wide variety of additional needs at college, and some of the private tutees have been dyslexic or have had English as a second language. Those who have already taken their exams have all been very pleased with their results and improvements made through tuition.
