Over 2 hrs/week - Hi. I'm looking for a tutor specifically for GRE Analytical Writing section. I'm aiming for score around 4.5 - 5.0 to apply for Columbia University in Social Science.

I'm taking GRE test again at the end of December.
I'm living outside of the US.
PHILLIPPA's last review in GRE from Pii: GRE Analytical Writing guide and writing feedback Very great session as she really helped me thinking the whole time rather than spoon-feeding the answers to me. This actually helps me see the flaws in my logic.

Daniel's last review in GRE from Brandynn: GRE Had my first session with Daniel and he did an amazing job. He is taking things slow with me, especially knowing I've been out of school for so long. He also made me feel very comfortable while answering questions.
I have tutored numerous students towards helping them achieve their ideal exam score. I take a kind and caring approach to tutoring that allow my students to wonder about the question and tricks to solve it. The goal is to make them enjoy mathematics and improve exam scores at the same time.

GRE job with Brandynn:
Intensive - I am in the process of applying to Vet School this September. I need to take the GRE prior to applying. I am older and have been out of school for some years now. I have tried to study on my own, but I have come to the realization that I need some professional help to achieve the score I want. I work full time, so the best time for me to study would be weekend afternoons, and also Mondays.
Matthew's last review in GRE from Hugo: Matthew is a great tutor! He helped me to prepare effectively for the GRE exam. He has good knowledge on both quantitative and verbal section and gave me good support as well as good material to work on.

Academically, I graduated top in my year from Cambridge with a Masters' in Astrophysics, and am now undertaking a PhD in Princeton, following a one-year research placement at Harvard.
I cover all levels of Mathematics from primary school all the way to SATs, GMAT and degree level . I focus particularly on A level and GCSE teaching all relevant modules including Stats, Core and Mechanics. I have a proven track record coaching students for AQA, Edexcel and OCR exam boards. I am always patient and encouraging and know how to get the best out my students. I enjoy making tricky concepts easy to understand by using everyday examples. There is no substitute for practice and I will set numerous problems to be completed before the next lesson. This is the only way to be sure topics are sinking in. I always emphasise full understanding of problems not just simply learning methods.
I provide intensive exam preparation and my pupils have frequently achieved top grades. My students are normally referred to me from other satisfied pupils and I tend to get very busy. However I am taking on new students at the moment and do have some availability.

I believe that a good tutor combines teaching and mentoring in a way that encourages students to use their own thinking and ability, set their own ‘agenda’, ask questions and then works with them to improve their self- confidence and ability in the subject.
