I am a PhD-trained mathematics educator and experienced test-preparation tutor specialising in the Digital SAT, ACT, GMAT, and GRE. Over more than a decade of teaching and tutoring, I have worked with 100+ students, helping them strengthen their academic foundations, develop effective test-taking strategies, and approach high-stakes examinations with greater confidence.

My academic background includes a PhD in Mathematics Education, a master’s degree from Teachers College, Columbia University, and a bachelor’s degree in Mathematics from NYU. Alongside private tutoring, I have taught mathematics at the university level, giving me extensive experience explaining difficult concepts clearly to students with very different academic backgrounds.

For the Digital SAT and ACT, I work with students across both the quantitative and verbal sections, including SAT Reading & Writing and Math and ACT English, Math, Reading, and Science. For graduate admissions, I prepare students for the GMAT and GRE, with particular expertise in quantitative reasoning, problem solving, data analysis, and mathematical strategy.

My lessons are highly personalised. I identify the areas costing you points, teach the underlying concepts in a clear and approachable way, and then show you how to apply those concepts efficiently under timed testing conditions. Rather than simply working through question after question, we develop a strategy for why you missed a question, how to recognise that question type again, and how to solve it more efficiently next time.
