I love science. Simple. Having worked as a scientist in industrial and research laboratories as well as working as a teacher and tutor I love to discuss anything science. I pride myself on being able to communicate scientifically with everyone from professors to primary schoolers.
I find information goes in so much better when you can see it in front of you- I like to be dynamic, use the whiteboard, pictures, diagrams discussion and make science a bit more digestible than from the textbooks.
I have been a private tutor for over 8 years and hold Qualified Teacher Status with experience teaching in schools in Suffolk and Devon. I was graded 'Outstanding' for my Teacher Training and also have experience working in industrial and research laboratories.
I am experienced in tutoring and teaching GCSE Biology, Chemistry, and Physics tuition and A level Biology and Chemistry. I really like to break-down the difficult topics and train you how to give examiners what they want in your answers. I have worked with a wide range of students of all ages and abilities and the wonderful thing about tutoring is I can adapt it exactly to your specific needs. Having also worked as an exam assessor I know exactly the standard and requirements required to gain the marks!
I LOVE my subject and love discussion in order to further understanding. I think part of my success as a teacher is my enthusiasm and need to have fun. I try to remind my students exactly how exciting science actually is outside of textbooks.

The class was fun, and a very useful recap of paper 1 and some very good exam practice! Thank u very much!
Miss Louisa is an amazing tutor. She is has deep knowledge of the subject, uses different strategies for explaining the content, paying attention to exam techniques. My daughter is currently studying for A level Biology on line with Miss Louisa. Hopefully, they will work together up to the final exam. I do highly recommend Miss Louisa as a Biology tutor.

We have been very pleased with the tutoring and support Louisa has provided for our daughter. She is always punctual and well organised not only has she increased our daughters confidence in both science and maths, but has also been a fantastic mentor.

Louisa was a great success. Always on time or early, cheerful and enthusiastic. A professional attitude and made my sons`s revision fun rather than being something to dread. I would definitely recommend her.

Louisa is a fantastic teacher, she takes the time to find the best method of teaching for the student and you can see the difference it has made for Lewis my son.
Lewis being dyslexic learns differently and Louisa has tailored his studies enabling him work on his strengths and how to improve his weaknesses and you can see in his work and understanding just what a difference she has made.
He is more so more confident and encouragement she gives during the lesson extends on into his school work, who have noticed a difference how he is now approaching problems and the way he answers them.
I would not hesitate to recommend her to any student or parents as she is naturally gifted teacher who you can see loves to teach.
We can't thank her enough!
