I have the experience, knowledge, passion and tools to help students master Physics, Mathematics, Statistics, and its applications (to Engineering, and Business). I can help you with A-level Physics, IB Physics and AP Physics. I hold a Ph.D. in Physics from University of Missouri. I have been teaching and tutoring students for the last 15 years. I have been an Assistant Professor of Physics at a major university. I have conducted more than 5000 hours of online tutoring over various platforms.

Jonathan's last completed MATLAB job with Hagen: Occasional - I am currently working through some work in MATLAB and wish for some assistance in doing so. the topics involved include creating a binary image in a loop and creating a colour image with colour gradients
Jonathan's last review in MATLAB from Clemency Amelia: Absolutely amazing, this guy really learnt how to use neural networks to help me out, and even though it was getting late he still stayed on until I was satisfied.
During 2018, Marco has been academic lecturer at the University of Pavia, Italy, teaching the course Quantitative Finance with R, which is a special section of the MSc in Finance course Quantitative Finance. Moreover, during the previous academic year, he was tutor and teaching assistant for the course Econometrics (3rd year BSc in Economics) at the University of Genova, Italy.
Marco has also a relevant tutor experience. He taught both in person and online to a variety of student at BSc and MSc level. He is specialised in quantitative subjects such as Econometrics and programming.
Holding a BSc and two MSc, Marco definitely gained expertise in structuring dissertations in Statistics, Econometrics and Financial Econometrics (subjects of his three dissertations). In addition, doing research on a daily basis for his PhD strengthened his taste for original works and for literature review building.
Marco's last completed MATLAB job with A J: Intensive - I am looking for a tutor to help me with testing different covariance estimation techniques for mean variance portfolio optimisation. I am looking to replicate the below thesis using a different sample set however do not know how to run the Matlab test since I have not used Matlab before.
Marco's last review in MATLAB from A J: MATLAB - Shrinkage and Nonlinear Shrinkage I highly recommend marco for quantitative finance sessions
My name is Andrea, I am 34 years old matematician. I have more than 15 years teaching mathematics at all levels.
In my view, the most important attributes of a good teacher are patience and empathy! The student needs to feel at ease and learn in a friendly environment. Student must feel comfortable, asking the same question several times if the previous were not clear to them.
During the class I write on a Wacom tablet, using several colours and highlighters, the lesson is funny and easy, texts and formulas without erasures.
Andrea's last completed MATLAB job with Sam: 1-2 hrs/week -
Andrea's last review in MATLAB from Sam: Lagrange interpolation Andrea was very helpful and very clear with all explanations. I couldn't recommend him enough! If anyone needs help in Matlab, please go to him!!!!!
I have been tutoring various Economics/Finance/Mathematics/Statistics courses at many levels since 2006. I am also very proficient in R and MATLAB, as I often use them for my research projects. I have been living in Houston since 2006 when I started my PhD studies at Rice University. I initially tutored many Rice undergraduate students, helped them mainly with Calculus and Economics courses. I also tutored middle and high school students, helped them mainly with math classes. Lately, I have been helping MBA students to be successful in their Economics, Statistics and Analytics classes that also involve extensive use of R. Teaching is a passion for me, therefore I continue tutoring along with teaching at the university.
Islam's last completed MATLAB job with K: Occasional - I want to get on a quick call regarding MATLAB in an assignment, and will tell the details on mail.
I’ve been working in universities and colleges for 15 years and have over 2 years experience of private teaching (1000+ hours). I’m an expert in linear algebra and elements of probability theory and have a range of experience teaching optimisation theory (including game theory), advanced calculus and complex analysis. I’ve delivered private lectures to A-level, IB maths students and undergraduates from prestigious UK universities. I teach students to learn the crucial concepts of maths more easily through concrete, clear examples. During my tutoring sessions I always reveal connections between different areas of mathematics, which appear highly non-obvious at first. This helps my students to obtain a deeper understanding of the curriculum. I always tailor sessions to the needs and requirements of my students and the main focus is on the practical application of the theorems.
Zoltan's last completed MATLAB job with Phil: Occasional - I have a Matlab assignment I am having trouble with. I need to optimize a problem which has many constraints and variables. Ideally, I want my code to be as simple as possible and run loops to optimize it
I have successfully taught all subjects I am offering up to and including A Level. Experienced with AQA, OCR, Edexcel, and Eduqas. As a senior leader I have coached and mentored new and experienced teachers giving me a deep understanding of teaching methodologies. Skilled in differentiating learning, my student-centred approach ensures all students make progress. I am dedicated to developing the passion for lifelong learning in others.
Fundamentally it is my depth of understanding that sets me apart from other tutors. I love statistics and econometrics, and have studied them for my own purposes for over a decade.
I also have a wealth of tuition experience, having been teaching privately full time for the last 5 years, and exclusively online for the last two. I pioneered the use of a graphics tablet in online classes, and worked with the founder of bitpaper on its design.
Finally I pride myself on the connections I form with my students, with many of them having become good friends over the years.

MATLAB job with Alexander:
Intensive - My name is Alexander.
I have an 4 hours written exam Saturday 22. February in a graduate course in Financial Econometrics where we have to use Matlab. The subjects that might appear in the exam will be GMM, Maximum Likelihood, ARMA processes, Unit roots, ARMA estimation and forecasting, ARCH models and bootstrapping.
I’m very familiar with Matlab and the subjects but I’m not sure how well I can do the exam, so I want to hear if you are interested in helping me with the exam? And I’m of course willing to pay for your time.
What you can expect from tutorials with me:
Concise, clear explanations: You will end each tutorial confident in your understanding of the topic. You will be able to answer related exam questions, apply concepts in coursework assignments and see how different topics fit in the greater picture.
A tailored program: Whether you want to spend time revising a particular topic, practicing exam questions or discussing a particular topic more in depth, tutorials will be designed to suit your needs.
An hands on approach: At the end of each tutorial, I will send you further material to practice and revise the material covered. Ahead of the following tutorial, I will then correct your work and provide useful feedback. This can take the form of written questions, past papers, programming assignments, etc.
I am looking forward to hearing from you!
I've been working as a private tutor with The Profs since 2015, giving lectures of different engineering topics, from physics and math to materials and dynamics.
I also have experience as a Teaching Assistant at Imperial College London (2015-2018) and at Georgia Institute of Technology (USA, 2014).
Federico's last completed MATLAB job with Shivani: Occasional - I am working on a MATLAB code to read tdms files and display them. I have already developed a code which allows me to read and display tdms files with the names Shot00001.tdms, shot 00002.tdms which has a single group and multiples channels. However, now I have decided to keep only one file with multiple groups and multiple channels. I am having an issue in displaying multiple group data on different graphs.
