I enjoy traveling and have travelled across China and Taiwan throughout my time studying abroad. I also enjoy hiking and have climbed Mount Kenya and Mount Kinabalu, Malaysia! During the course of my gap year, I learnt how to dive, and spent my spare time diving in Borneo, Malaysia.
I have broad ranging experience in tutoring online, having taught a range of students in Chinese, English Language and Literature. I also have experience in guiding university applications and personal statements, as well as conducting practice interviews, and would be happy to help with any applications and personal statements!
Siena is a fantastic Chinese language tutor. As she herself learnt Chinese as a second language, she is able to teach in such a way that makes it easy to learn the language as an adult. Her knowledge of Chinese grammar is particularly impressive, and the methods she uses to explain these concepts are very effective.
