I have taught A Level History for twelve years in a sixth form college and I have been tutoring online for two. I am dedicated to helping young people reach their potential and in 2018, my students averaged one grade higher than their predicted A Level grades. I have a great deal of experience in working one-to-one with students and I always aim to make my tutorials enjoyable and supportive, whilst encouraging great progress with both coursework and exam preparation. I have been teaching and tutoring for five years now and have acquired a wide range of teaching experiences and skills. I began when I was still at school by tutoring a GCSE history student whilst I was doing my A-Levels. I also volunteered at an after-school homework club. I would tutor the children on an individual basis, helping them with their homework and keeping track of their progress. I also began to take up classroom teaching jobs, going to Kenya in partnership with ...

I focus on teaching pupils conceptual skills which allow them to tackle a broad variety of intellectual problems with ease; moreover I place a special emphasis on analysis that is concise, and methodologically coherent. Most, of all I enjoy seeing my pupils grow their own talents through the discovery of their inte...

From there I went to Oxford, where I tutored with Pembroke Tutors alongside my studies, covering English, History, Religious Studies and Philosophy at GCSE, IB and A Level. I also worked with Atom Learning to create an on...
