I have worked as a science tutor for the past two years and have loved every minute. During my PhD and subsequent time in academia I taught a range of levels and am expert in teaching Biology, Chemistry and Physics from GCSE level up to University level. At higher levels of education I can teach my specialist subjects including Biochemistry, Structural Biology and Molecular Biology.
With enthusiasm, careful planning and knowledge you can improve a students results and enjoyment of the subject, Tutoring is such a rewarding business to be involved in and what makes me a good tutor is that I teach out of love for the subject.
I find myself as a dedicated teacher who is able to motivate and encourage students to move forward in their studies. I have been tutoring students not only face to face but also through online platform for the last 15 years. There has been never a single child whom I couldn’t push further to score higher than their predicted grades. My teaching strategies are quite focused on individual requirements, as no two students are exactly same. Being an external examiner for years as well as having the teaching experience for more than 15 years has allowed me to apply specific exam techniques to help the students to understand the science concepts and how to crack the exam questions in various boards. I have worked in various countries and taught students from countries like India, Malaysia, Singapore and Dubai. Now, I am quite confident that with my experience and effective teaching strategies, I would be able to guide and help many more in UK as well.
I have tutored in person and online for over 10 years and receive great feedback with my students receiving mostly 8, 9's, A*'s and A's. I believe that interacting and stimulation is the key to excellent tutoring.
I work mainly on perfecting exam techniques and how to answer the question for maximum marks. I have a lot of practice material and previous exam material.

I was working as a senior Biology faculty for the past 19 years for various international curriculums like IGCSE, IBDP and AP Biology. I was working as an online tutor for the past 9 years. I taught Biology for students residing in UAE, Singapore, UK, and the US.I was also working as a an IBDP examiner for the 3 years.I know the expectations of an standard question paper and the required skills of a student to answer the paper within the given time.
