I have tutored in person and online for over 10 years and receive great feedback with my students receiving mostly A*'s and A's. I believe that interacting and stimulation is the key to excellent tutoring.
I work mainly on perfecting exam techniques and how to answer the question for maximum marks. I have a lot of practice material and previous exam material.
I welcome inquiries from anyone who would like extra, on-going tuition, help with general revision or assignments, or preparation for exams.
I have experience with OCR, AQA and Edexcel syllabus.

I have worked as a science tutor for the past two years and have loved every minute. During my PhD and subsequent time in academia I taught a range of levels and am expert in teaching Biology, Chemistry and Physics from GCSE level up to University level. At higher levels of education I can teach my specialist subjects including Biochemistry, Structural Biology and Molecular Biology.
With enthusiasm, careful planning and knowledge you can improve a students results and enjoyment of the subject, Tutoring is such a rewarding business to be involved in and what makes me a good tutor is that I teach out of love for the subject.

Biology job with kaya:
1-2 hrs/week - I am writing my final version for my Biology IA. I just need someone to read it through and make comments on it. The final deadline is on Wednesday at midnight (Berlin time). I would greatly appreciate your help. Since writing up labs are one of my many weaknesses in biology, having someone rigorously comment on it would really help me.
My topic is looking at the association between three types of moss as the height of the spruce tree increases. Thank you!
First up, I enjoy the subjects I tutor immensely and I feel this is one of the most important qualities in a good tutor. In addition, I am friendly and confident and have experience of communicating with others in a teaching environment. Coupled with my enthusiasm for the subjects, this will make for a productive and enjoyable learning environment for students. I have extensive tutoring experience, particularly at GCSE and A-levels and have been working with some students for multiple years. Beyond this, I have been asked by my school to return after my first year of university to regularly help prospective Oxbridge students with their personal statements and applications and was an advisor on interview technique.
William's last completed IB Biology job with Ginevra: Intensive - I have always struggled with sciences in general. I would like to practice past IB papers for Biology SL. Currently we are working on Cell Biology. Throughout the year we will be working on Molecular Biology, Genetics, Ecology, Evolution and biodiversity, and Human physiology.
I have over 4 years of experience in tutoring the sciences across a range of exam boards and levels, and am focused on ensuring each of my students understands how they will best reach their goals.
I am passionate about the subjects that I tutor, and am able to deliver them in innovative and engaging ways. My aim is to build up the confidence of my students in any given subject, and to help each individual to realise their potential.
I have successfully taught all subjects I am offering up to and including A Level. Experienced with AQA, OCR, Edexcel, and Eduqas. As a senior leader I have coached and mentored new and experienced teachers giving me a deep understanding of teaching methodologies. Skilled in differentiating learning, my student-centred approach ensures all students make progress. I am dedicated to developing the passion for lifelong learning in others.
My approach to tutoring is get the student interested in the subject they are studying, as learning about something you're interested in makes all the content more accessible.
All the content taught in the lesson will be from your school's exam board. The lessons will be based on the content you need for your exams, as well as developing strategies and skills to answer exam questions.
I will be able to provide all material for the tutoring sessions.
Blake's last completed IB Biology job with N: 1-2 hrs/week - I generally struggle with understanding and making connections between topics in Biology. We just finished a unit on membrane transport, cancer, and stem cells. We have just started our unit on Molecular Biology (so, i.e. chemistry) which is even more difficult for me to understand. Please help me learn this. So far we've looked at the basic units of life and functional groups. Our teacher doesn't explain what these molecules are/what they do/why they are important well enough for me.
My subject knowledge abd passion to share it with the next generation makes me a good tutor. I believe in sharing what I have gained over 15years, with a sole aim of making my students successful in their exams.
I am an enthusiastic and energetic individual who is both self-motivated and proactive. An excellent communicator at all levels internal & external, can be relied on to work well both as part of a team and individually. Thrives on a challenge and have delivered my best results when faced with pressing targets.
I hold a Bachelors degree from queen Margaret University in pharmacology, a MSc in Cancer Therapeutics from Barts and the London School of Medicine and I currently finishing my PhD from Barts Cancer Institute. I have a vast experience of teaching at all levels and currently teach two days a week.
Ramsay's last completed IB Biology job with Azra: 1-2 hrs/week - I want to try ASAP
I did my professional teaching course last year but had to give up teaching after qualifying for a great PhD opportunity. My favourite part of teaching was spending time with small groups and helping them realise they could do things they thought they couldn't.
I predominately taught GCSE and A-level classes In all three of the sciences. I also had to teach quite a lot on maths within the Physics A-level as well as helping out in GCSE maths classes. I really enjoyed teaching the sciences to people who were struggling as it would give rise to the "OH I get it now!" moment that most teachers crave.
Before teaching I studied at the University of Nottingham where I gained my masters in Biochemistry and Genetics. During this course I was lucky enough to study a large variety of topics as well as take part in research projects at the university which gave rise to further works. I thoroughly enjoyed my degree as well as my research which is why I am now studying for my PhD.
