I have done some individual work with my own IB Psychology students as needed. In January 2020 I started to offer tutoring lessons through Spires, which have been successful. Most of the support I have given has been on the Extended Essay and the Internal Assessment in IB Psychology. Being an experienced IB Psychology teacher, I am also able to prepare students for the examinations.

My interdisciplinary, formative approach to teaching emphasises high standards, low pressure. My experience since 2008 has been mainly with secondary school pupils but also briefly with Year 6 children (2017-2018), meaning I have a full understanding of the transition from primary to secondary school. I have also served as Head of Year 11, and taught secondary English, French, TOK and Global Perspectives in 6 schools to date (3 U.K., 2 NL...

I have been tutoring school and university students since 2009. I have tutored for over 1000 hours. Varying from school to university, I have worked with a variety of students and made sure that their grades and concepts are high and strong.
My students have secured A* and 7 points frequently. I am currently an Assistant Examiner with the IB and with other international boards. Students have appreciated my skill of breaking down rubrics and making skills easy to master.

I find myself as a dedicated teacher who is able to motivate and encourage students to move forward in their studies. I have been tutoring students not only face to face but also through online platform for the last 15 years. There has been never a single child whom I couldn’t push further to score higher than their predicted grades. My teaching strategies are quite focused on individual requirements, as no two students are exactly same. Being an external examiner for years a...
