GCSE Results Show Remarkable Progress

At GCSE level, 97% of Spires students improved their grades, with an average uplift of 2.4 grades. The scale of improvement demonstrates how targeted, personalised tutoring can transform academic performance.

Moreover, over half of our GCSE students (53%) secured top grades 8–9, while 78% achieved grades 7–9. For many, this opens doors to competitive sixth forms and IB programmes, and sets the foundation for strong university applications in the future.

A-Level Success Builds on Momentum

Earlier in the summer, Spires celebrated outstanding A-level outcomes. 93% of students improved their results, with an average increase of 1.8 grades. Notably, 61% achieved an A or A* – double the national average. What makes this even more impressive is that none of these students had been predicted such high grades before starting tutoring with Spires.
