Apart from physics I take a keen interest in philosophy and what makes the world the way it is. This turns me into a writer most of the time, but also a keen traveler and walker. I set up a walking society in London and I am also an avid rock climber.
I have a deep knowledge of physics through my PhD and take enormous pleasure in explaining it. I am currently writing a book that provides a clear account of the latest conundrums in relativity and quantum mechanics. I have supervised a master's student through a six week internship where we developed a new approach to quantum control theory. I spent a month in a school, developing lessons on relativity and quantum mechanics to introduce the topics to 12-15 year olds. Since then I've spent three years mentoring undergraduate students through conceptual problems.
PhD in Quantum Control Theory from University College London.
First Class MSci in Physics with Theoretical Physics from Imperial College London.
