When I am not tutoring I enjoy reading, being active and the sunshine!
Tutor Experience
I tutored for 5 years in Australia whilst I was studying to be a teacher. I have tutored primary aged students, final year secondary students, students studying IB and university students. I have 3 wonderful years experience teaching Mathematics in AUS and the UK. The best part of tutoring for me is seeing students gain crucial confidence and achieving their goals. I have helped students get the grades to get into engineering courses on full scholarships, turn around failing grades and most satisfying is seeing students turn maths into one of their best subjects when it was their worst! Throughout these experiences, I have developed and redeveloped many tools and methods of explaining things. I don't believe in a one-explanation-fits-all model. I will find what works for you!
