I have been a tutor since 2007 and have tutored over 100 clients since then. I am an organised, committed, reliable and enthusiastic individual who enjoys working with clients, helping them to develop their understanding and interest in a variety of subjects. Whilst tutoring I pay particular attention to the needs of each student and tailor their study courses to best meet their needs and wishes. My approach to tutoring emphasises clarity, flexibility, and an enthusiasm for learning, within an informal and relaxed yet structured and interactive environment. I encourage students to think imaginatively and challenge themselves academically, encouraging debate and broadening their horizons. This not only helps to improve a student's examination technique but also their academic development.

I have helped those I tutor to significantly improve their exam results and grades, often taking them from C and D level grades up to high As and Bs. One of my most recent tutee, who I tutored in GCSE Geography and History, achieved Grade 9 in both subjects and came top of his year at school for his GCSE grades.

For those in secondary school, I teach history, politics, geography, law and English up to A Level and have covered a range of assessments and exam boards, including Edexcel, AQA, OCR and WJEC. I am also able to provide homework and revision support, as well as exam and essay writing skills and techniques.

I also have extensive experience working with both undergraduates and postgraduates, helping them with essays and dissertations, individual module work and in preparation for assessments, covering a range of subject materials.
