Starting out my professional career I graduated as a lawyer in Germany. I worked for the Civil Service as a cross jurisdictional lawyer to include UK, Scotland, British Isles and Europe work. I returned back to the UK after my son was born spent many years working in Government and other public bodies before deciding that I needed to update my legal skills to remain “ahead of the game”. As such I am familiar with the level of work and commitment required to study whilst working and having a young family and look forward to supporting you with your studies. My greatest achievements, outside of my children, are that I was admitted to the degree of Master of Laws in Law and Employment Relations from Leicester University Faculty of Law in 2007 and that I hold a Fellowship of the Institute of Leadership and Management gained in 2008.

After gaining higher qualifications, I decided that practising law was not for me so I decided to share my wealth of experience with others and began lecturing.

My experience in lecturing in Law, HR and Management at various Universities and Colleges for over 10 years means that I am well versed in Legal, Human Resources and Leadership & Management related topics. Having extensive subject knowledge and teaching experience means that I am well suited to improving the academic performance of students through motivation to succeed and engagement with the subject.
