I am a student in my final year at the University of Cape Town. I am studying my Honours in Economics and loving it. I take my academics very seriously and I am dedicated to my studies. In my spare time, I love running and hiking the beautiful mountains that Cape Town has to offer. When I am not outdoors, I love reading or watching a good movie. My friends and family are very important to me and I value my relationships with them hugely. I am a bubbly, fun-loving yet hard-working person with a passion to live life as best as I can. I love travelling and learning about other cultures and I hope that I can develop this interest of mine over the rest of my life.
I have tutored for the past three years in Cape Town. I have mainly tutored Maths, but I have also done English and Geography. I have retained the same clients over my years as tutoring and this is evidence that I produce good results through the students that I tutor. Every single one of my students has improved in their marks since I started tutoring them. One student even went up by 30% in Maths (from a mark in the 50% range to one in the 80% range). I take great care in preparing for my lessons and ensuring that I am doing everything possible to assist the students that I tutor and make their lessons worthwhile. I am passionate about the work that I do and I care about the students as individuals. I also engage with my students on a level deeper than merely academics which incentivises them to work harder.
