I'm a part-time leather crafter, full-time PhD student, mom of 2 toddlers and Udo, our Weimaraner. I like flamingos-they are totally random. I'm a bit of a whacky scientist that goes against the grain of life yet trying to find my balance in the chaos. I've always enjoyed teaching and spreading the knowledge, and believe that learning should be fun-otherwise what's the point!
I'm an experienced Laboratory Demonstrator and Tutor with a history of working in the higher education industry. I have a thorough knowledge of Medical and Clinical science focused on Immunology, Genetics, Medical Biochemistry and Neuroscience. I'm a strong research professional currently a PhD candidate in Clinical Sciences and Immunology at University of Cape Town.
