About Me

Physics masters grad from UCL achieving a Distinction (83.2%). I also have a BSc (Hons) Physics from QMUL graduating with a First-Class Honours. Currently, I'm a nanotechnology PhD researcher conducting an industrial CASE doctoral project jointly with the University of Surrey - Advanced Technology Institute (ATI), National Physical Laboratory (NPL) and Stemnovate.

My greatest passion in life is learning and cultivating knowledge which led to success at university thanks to my amazing lecturers. This is the backbone of my commitment to teaching my students, regardless of their abilities.

Tutor Experience

I have over 800 hours of teaching and tutoring experience which I've amassed since 2015 in different teaching environments for mathematics and physics. I have also personally helped, for free, or privately tutored numerous students at various levels. All achieved grades of a 1st-2:1, A*-A and 9-7.

Usually, I teach at university level but due to popular demand I am accepting new A-Level/GCSE students to boost their grades and land places at top universities as my past clients (i.e. Oxford, Cambridge, UCL etc). I'm offering to tutor A Level Mathematics, Further Mathematics and Physics as well as GCSE Mathematics and Physics. I conduct my lessons online through platforms such as Skype or Discord and would look to target areas that the student can't quite grasp.

I have also run a tutoring programme at QMUL called ME Tutors where I rebranded the group, kept track of finances, completed grants & expenses forms and recruited new volunteers. As a group, we volunteered at local East London schools to help students with GCSE Mathematics. I have been very humbled to attend such great teaching environments and universities and to be able to express my passion by passing on knowledge to the next generation.

I have a setup which allows me to deliver online lessons effectively as I use an online whiteboard as well as a graphics tablet to handwrite everything. This allows me to directly show the methods to the students and replicate an in-class teaching environment.

Topic Expertise

Subjects I'd like to tutor are:
University Level Physics
A-Level Mathematics, Further Mathematics and Physics
GCSE/IGCSE Mathematics and Physics

I should be able to cover the majority of mathematics modules such as Edexcel Pure Mathematics, Statistics & Mechanics, Core Pure Mathematics, FP1, FP2, FM1, FM2, FS1, FS2, D1 and D2. Additionally, I covered a lot of mathematical content during my degrees.

I can tutor university level Physics at both undergraduate and masters level but this would be module dependent. Broadly speaking, I can teach topics such as quantum mechanics or quantum computing, general relativity, condensed matter/solid-state physics, group theory, complex analysis etc.

If offered a role, I would prefer tutoring on weekends.
