I have worked in the UK FE sector since my Masters graduation in 2007 and have risen to be a faculty manager for A-levels at an FE college. Topic Expertise

My strength as a teacher/tutor is my general erudition. As I am a multi-disciplinarian I have been able to teach students with wider reference to other relevant disciplines with a particular focus on politics and economics.

I have taught the following history topics at A-level (AQA), Access (OCNSWR and CAVA) and FdA (Plymouth):

In politics I am experienced in delivering the new AQA A-level and have taught all three modules:

The government and politics of the UK
Comparative politics (specialising in US)
Politival ideologies (Socialism, Liberalism, Conservatism and Nationalism)

I have also taught GCSE maths (Edexcel/Pearson) to students who were resitting in order to achieve a 4 or 5 so am experienced in working with learners who lack confidence and are struggling to make the pass grade.
