About me

I am a PhD researcher and associate lecturer in social sciences. For the past five years, I have taught a variety of subjects in politics and sociology at multiple universities, including the University of Glasgow, University of Stirling and UWS. I currently run the Access Politics module at the University of Glasgow, which is specifically designed to provide people who do not meet the entry requirements with a path to university studies. This role has been incredibly rewarding as I get to see my students progress and get accepted to their chosen degree. I have mentored and taught students of all ages and backgrounds, and learn just as much from them as they learn from me. My student-centred approach provides students with much more than just the subject knowledge - it also ensures they have a solid foundation in the range of academic skills needed for university life .
