Hi, I’m Max, and I’m excited to help you with your learning journey! I’ve had a diverse teaching career, with 10 years experience across different age groups and all subjects in KS2. Over the years, I’ve developed a teaching style that’s all about making learning engaging, clear, and tailored to each student's needs.

I started my teaching career as a Teaching Assistant, working one-to-one and in small groups with students who had a range of learning needs. This experience taught me how to be patient, adaptable, and creative in finding ways to make lessons accessible for everyone.

After that, I took on my first teaching role as a Year 4 teacher at an outstanding school in London. During my two years in Year 4, I taught all subjects and gained a wealth of knowledge and how best to teach it to children of that age.

I then moved on to teach Year 5 for the next two years. This then gave me a solid understanding of the Year 5 curriculum and how to apply it to assessments and various exams.

I then spent two years as a Year 6 teacher at an International School in Malaysia. It was an incredible experience which gave me the opportunity to work with a wide range of students from different cultures. Also, giving me experience in SATS prep as well as an understanding of the GL Assessments or 11+ exams.

I’ve always believed in making learning enjoyable and accessible. I focus on breaking down complex ideas into manageable steps, and I make sure my students feel supported.
