A lecturer and legal researcher who specialises in intellectual property law, tort and criminal law.
I have over fifteen years' experience teaching law in the higher education sector. I taught tort and criminal law at the Open University. I was module leader for intellectual property law at the University of Warwick. Prior to this, I taught A-level law and was an AQA examiner.
My method involves devising activities that test comprehension, analysis and critique. These skills are critical to ensure a 2:1 or above. I also design problem questions whereby learners can apply the law. I have supervised both undergraduate and postgraduate dissertations, advising learners on drafting research questions, setting objectives, choosing methodologies and organising chapter outlines, all essential to a successful research journey.
I have extensive research and teaching experience in intellectual property law at both undergraduate and postgraduate level. I have also taught both criminal and tort law. As I have a doctorate in law, I can offer sessions on academic skills, legal research and dissertations. Prior to joining the higher education sector, I taught in further education. Therefore, I can offer my expertise on A-Level Law. In the past, I was an AQA examiner and senior examiner.
Great tutor, she helps break down topics I need improvement and uses active engagement. Would recommend !!
