I am a passionate law teacher, researcher, and mentor with extensive experience supporting students at university level. I have taught a range of core law modules to undergraduate students, helping them develop a strong foundation in legal principles, critical analysis, and academic writing. My academic background is in socio-legal studies, with particular interests in law and society, human rights, gender justice, and legal research. I enjoy helping students navigate challenging legal concepts, strengthen their critical thinking, and develop the confidence needed to excel in their studies.
Outside of teaching, I am an avid researcher and writer who enjoys exploring how law shapes society and everyday life. I believe learning should be engaging, supportive, and tailored to the individual, and I take pride in helping students achieve their academic goals while developing skills that will serve them well beyond the classroom. Whether students are seeking support with coursework, exam preparation, legal writing, or dissertation research, I aim to create a positive and encouraging learning environment where they can thrive.
I have over five years of experience teaching and supporting undergraduate and Master's students in Law. My teaching has included seminars and tutorials across core law modules, as well as one-to-one academic support in legal research, essay writing, exam preparation, dissertations, and critical legal analysis.
My teaching approach is student-centred and tailored to individual needs. I break down complex legal concepts into clear, manageable steps, encourage critical thinking, and focus on building confidence alongside academic achievement. Whether supporting students with coursework, exams, or dissertation projects, I aim to create an engaging and supportive learning environment that enables them to reach their full potential.
I provide tutoring across a range of undergraduate and postgraduate law subjects, including Contract Law, Tort Law, Criminal Law, Public Law, Constitutional and Administrative Law, Human Rights Law, Equity and Trusts, Family Law, Legal Research Methods, and Dissertation Supervision. I also have specialist expertise in socio-legal studies, law and society, gender-based violence, and justice-related topics.
In addition to subject-specific teaching, I support students with legal research, essay and coursework writing, dissertation and thesis development, critical analysis, academic writing, and exam preparation. My sessions are tailored to each student's needs, whether they require support with foundational legal concepts, assessment preparation, or advanced research projects.
