Online Biology Tutor Akshar

My name is Akshar, a full-time tutor, examiner and Physician Associate. I graduated with a First-Class Biomedical Science from King’s College London. I recently graduated with a Master's in Physician Associate Studies from St. George's University, London. Additionally, I serve as an examiner, responsible for marking and providing feedback during the summer examination series. Learning new concepts has piqued my interest even further. Therefore, I want to share my knowledge with other students so that discoveries in the contours of medicine and other subjects can be made.

I achieved A*A*A in GCSE Biology, Chemistry and Physics, and an A in Mathematics, despite being predicted D and E. It was a challenging but rewarding journey, made possible by a few dedicated teachers and my sister’s tutoring. That experience drives my passion today: to make tutoring accessible and empowering for students who just need the right support at the right time to unlock their full potential.

I have 8 years of experience tutoring GCSE Maths and Science and 5 years of tutoring A-level Biology and Chemistry. Additionally, I have spent a year tutoring SEN students, including those with autism and ADHD, which was an incredibly rewarding experience.

I regularly engage in competitive sports, such as badminton, cricket and chess. I was honoured to receive the London Mayor of Science Award alongside the Jack Petchey Award on three occasions.
