I am a final-year PhD student in Mathematics at the University of Sheffield, specialising in algebra and number theory. I have a strong academic background from leading UK universities, having completed my BSc in Mathematics at Durham University (First Class) and an MSc in Pure Mathematics at Imperial College London (Distinction).
Alongside my academic work, I am passionate about helping students build deep understanding, confidence, and problem-solving skills in mathematics. I believe that with the right explanations and guidance, even the most challenging topics can become intuitive and enjoyable. My teaching style is clear, structured, and tailored to each student’s goals — whether that is exam success, admissions preparation, or developing a strong mathematical foundation.
I have over 7 years of online tutoring experience, working with students from GCSE level through to advanced undergraduate mathematics. I have successfully taught:
GCSE Mathematics
A-Level Mathematics and Further Mathematics
University admissions tests (STEP, MAT, and others)
Oxbridge interview preparation
Mathematical Olympiad preparation
Undergraduate mathematics across all core subjects
In addition, I have been a university tutor at the University of Sheffield for the past 3 years, delivering tutorials in multiple undergraduate mathematics courses. This experience has strengthened my ability to explain abstract concepts clearly and to adapt my teaching to different learning styles and levels of ability.
