Hello! My name is Andre, and I’m a certified teacher with over 15 years of experience working with high school students around the world. I’ve had the privilege of teaching in countries across 5 different continents, helping students of different backgrounds succeed academically and develop a genuine understanding of complex subjects. My academic background includes a BA and MA in Philosophy and postgraduate studies in Economics, which allow me to connect theoretical ideas with real-world applications — especially in Economics, my favorite subject to teach.

Over the years, I’ve taught both the IB and AP curricula, guiding students through rigorous programs that demand critical thinking, analytical writing, and exam strategy. As an experienced examiner for both the IB and AP, I understand exactly what examiners look for and how to help students meet those expectations. My students have consistently achieved top results — my most recent AP Macroeconomics group earned an average score of 5 out of 5!

When tutoring, I focus on making each session meaningful and engaging. I don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all approach; instead, I adapt my lessons to each student’s learning style, pace, and goals. I also create customized materials — including a chatbot I personally developed to help students practice AP Macroeconomics FRQs interactively!
