I grew up in Italy, where I studied computer science achieving a 1st in my BSc (hons). When I moved to the UK, I took on a PGCE in secondary computing and obtained my PGCE and Qualified Teacher Status in the summer of 2015.
Throughout my teaching career, I have worked with learners aged 11-18 as a computing, computer science and IT teacher and a form tutor, as well as KS3 computing leader. This experience has enabled me to become exceptionally skilled in creating and adapting high-quality resources, leveraging technology in the teaching and learning of computing, and developing an exceptional subject knowledge in GCSE and A level computer science.
Below is a summary of my teaching experience. If you want to know more about me to see if I am the right tutor for you, schedule a free introductory call!

My honest, open and result-driven approach aims to ensure that all learners are better prepared for the next step of their learning journey.
UK KS3 COMPUTING
Covering a wide range of topics, in line with the English National Curriculum.
GCSE COMPUTER SCIENCE
Experience teaching OCR and AQA specifications; being a computer science graduate with extensive teaching experience, I can surely adapt my tutoring style to suit learners of similar qualifications (e.g. IGCSE) or different exam boards (e.g. Edexcel)
With extensive, in-depth subject knowledge, I can support learners in all aspects of this course.
I am particularly skilled in studying past papers, mark schemes and examiner reports to identify the best way to answer exam questions, and I use this knowledge to guide learners in applying their understanding in a way that enables them to achieve the highest grades.

"You've had a real positive impact on my education since Year 7!"
"I may not be the best at computer science, but you have made it my favourite subject. Thank you for being patient and never giving up on us. I am beyond grateful for your guidance!"
