Mathematician and Artist who is highly passionate about building deep understanding within taught mathematics. Conceptual understanding and learning is at the heart of my teaching approach - I complement each explanation with a visual counterpart (micro-level) as well as a macro-level overview of why this mathematics is useful, purposeful and interesting! I have 5+ years experience working in schools across London, Leeds and Manchester as well as a PGCE with QTS (Qualified Teacher Status).

I am both a mathematician and an artist - for me, mathematics is another form of art. To understand the principles of mathematics truly is to understand the mind of the universe - mathematics is the language of the cosmos and this inspiring notion should be translated in how we treat GCSE, A level and taught maths in general!
Over the 5 years following my graduation from Leeds University, I have worked in schools in Leeds, Manchester and London. I have experienced different teaching styles across the nation as well as gained insight on the UK school system in general. In London 2022, I ran after-school sessions trialling my own tuition material to meet the demand created by the catch-up following the pandemic. In 2023 - 2024, I completed my PGCE in Secondary School Mathematics with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
My areas of expertise are:
- bringing a visual, conceptual and artistic approach to understanding mathematics.
- mainly visual explanations
- for higher levels, all concepts are broken down axiomatically
- learning interesting uses for mathematics
